I think plays would help kids get more involved in the way history went down and not only would they learn the facts easier but they would also enjoy it.
Another great idea is suggesting they make presentations and projects about certain moments in history. This would help them memorise the facts and keep they colleagues keen to learn and there could be competitions based on whose project is more interesting and beautiful.
