She was sunbathing when she heard a strange noise. It mostly sounded like leaves rustling, but also like a low, muffled growl.
Jane thought it might be her dog, and whistled, in attempt of getting the so-called dog to come to her.
Instead, out of the nearest bush, a bear arose to its feet and roared loudly.
Jane let out a shriek, and quickly got up from her towel, running back to her house, which was 2 minutes away from the beach. She always looked over her shoulder, to make sure the bear wasn't following her.
When she reached the house, she unlocked the door rapidly and went inside, hurrying to lock it.
She won't go sunbathing in that zone for a while.
