Daca x pe 5 este egal cu x pe 7 și x plus y este egal cu 24 determinați numerele x și y

x / 5 = y / 7 ⇒ 7 x = 5 y ⇒ x = 5 y / 7

x + y = 24

5 y / 7 + y = 24 → le aduc la acelasi numitor si elimin numitorul

5 y + 7 y = 7 × 24

12 y = 7 × 24

y = 7 × 24 : 12

y = 7 × 2 = 14

x = 5 × 14 / 7 = 5 × 2 = 10

x + y = 10 + 14 = 24→ suma lor

10 / 5 = 14 / 7 = 2
