in this book the author is talking about a romantic story between Felix and Otilia .Otlia is an orphan and who is living with Costache and Felix is a student . He wants to become a doctor . Felix is falling in love w her but when the war comes Felix needs to leave . with this ocasion he becomes a dr but meanwhile otilia marries a man Pascalopol . He is older but richer . After years pascalopol and Felix meet and the dr finds out that the couple divorced and Otilia is living w a richer man in Buones Aries now. For Felix Otilia remains the first love and for Pascalopol a mistery .
